Electro Erosion Drilling

Three electro-erosion devices (Electrical Discharge Machines, EDM) are available for the drilling of metallic gaskets (rhenium, tungsten, stainless steel). The system is equipped with centering and observation microscopes and offers fast drilling and good hole shape quality. By using different diameter electrodes or needles, the hole diameter can be varied from 30 μm to 450 μm by controlling the electrode voltage. The centering accuracy is less than 5 μm.
