Spectroscopy platform

The spectroscopy platform is equipped with Raman, infrared, Brillouin, UV-visible-NIR spectrometers as well as with an electron paramagnetic resonance spectrometer (EPR). It fulfils needs of a broad scientific community in various fields, such as physics and chemistry of materials, mineralogy and Earth and environmental sciences. Our equipment allows us to study the properties of samples in various forms (monocrystalline, polycrystalline and amorphous) or liquid, macroscopic or microscopic, in different environments, under ambient or extreme conditions of temperatures (high or low) and / or pressures. The service is open to the entire research community of our university, as well as to external laboratories, both public and private. The developments of our instruments are realized within the platform, in collaboration with teams and engineers of our Institute.
