Infrared spectrometers
The infrared spectrometers enable to work in a spectral range from far infrared to near infrared (80 to 20000 cm-1). The various optic set-ups allow transmission and reflectivity measurements under polarized light, with vacuum condition, on pellet and microscopic/macroscopic samples. For powders, we have the possibility to work with Attenuated Total Reflectance devices. Liquids are analyzed with a multi-reflection device. A temperature control is possible thanks to an open flux cycle Helium cryostat for temperature between 10 K to 300 K and resistive oven until to 700 K. A sample compartment has been developed to be compatible with the DAC to work under high pressure.

This Fourier Transform InfraRed spectrometer is completely under vacuum. It is equipped with an optic (set of sources, beam splitters, detectors) able to cover the broad spectral range from far infrared to near infrared (80 to 20000 cm-1). The spectrometer has been modified to add a sample compartment (developed in-house) compatible with DAC to work under high pressure. The original sample compartment allows measurements of transmission and reflectivity under polarized light, at ambient pressure, and as a function of temperature with a cryo-furnace operating between 10 and 700 K.
